Bonjour!

I know I haven’t written in forever. Well, that’s not entirely true. I’ve been writing a ton, just not on the blog. I’m more or less abandoning Duchess for a while to pursue writing outside the blog full time. But I had to take a moment to share with you a new blog my mom started, aka, Bring the Monkey. My mom got a pink sock monkey for Christmas, she traveled down here to L.A. to spend the holidays with my mom, and they’ve formed quite a friendship.

So much so, that pink monkey now has her own blog. It’s amazingly funny, fun, playful and beautiful. My mom installed a love of reading and writing (can’t say that the quilting took with me but the literary pursuits certainly did) and I just love everything about her. And her pink monkey.
